It’s dinner time and my family wants Chinese. Chinese and Japanese food cook in no time, this means I can spend as much time as I want on my blog and or watching videos on Youtube. Yes, I spend a lot of time on Youtube

Anything stir fry tastes yummy, my favorites are chicken and beef stir-fry. There are many stir fry recipes out there, some call for long list of ingredients, but I like to stick to the basic.

This version is quick, the ingredients used are available in almost every house, and if not, then the nearest store should have them.

When there isn’t mush sauce in the stir fry recipe, I serve it with noodles, since rice will absorb most of the sauce and you won’t enjoy your stir fry.

Please keep in mind that although the Beef Stir Fry is low in calories, consuming a lot of noodles may ruin it for you. One cup of egg noodle is around 220 calories, and to be honest if you decided to go for egg noodles, half a cup will be more than enough since the amount of vegetables and beef in this recipe will fill you up.

Be smart in your choices and enjoy good food. Moderation is the key!

Beef Stir Fry

Serves 2. 373 calories per serving.

Marinade:

7 oz or 200gm beef cut into thin strips.

- Marinade the beef in egg white, sesame oil, and corn flour. Keep aside for 40 minutes.

- In a smoking hot pan, add 2 teaspoons oil, then add the beef, keep stirring until the beef get brown patches. Remove from heat, cover, and keep aside.

- In a hot pan, add two teaspoons oil, then add the ginger and garlic, stir for few seconds. Add the carrot, stir for few seconds, then add the rest of vegetables, keep stirring, then add the beef.

- Add the soy sauce and oyster sauce and stir for few seconds. Add the hot water and stir for a minute. Turn off heat and serve immediately.
