- Divide hash among 6 lightly greased custard c.. Press to create "baskets". Break an egg into the center of each basket. Dot with butter and cover with 1 Tbsp. of lowfat milk or possibly cream. Add in salt and pepper. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 20 min or possibly till egg is set.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
- Variations:o Sprinkle each with 1 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese o Sprinkle each with 1 Tbsp. shredded Swiss, cheddar or possibly Jack cheese o Sprinkle each with seasoned bread crumbs o Top each with salsa, lowfat sour cream and minced onions after baking.
- o Press hash into a greased 8- by 8-inch pan. Make indentations for Large eggs and bake as above.
- o Substitute corned beef hash for beef hash
