Ингредиенты

  • 3 Tbsp. active dry yeast plus
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 2 1/4 c. hot water
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 6 c. flour more if needed
  • 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil

  1. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Place the yeast in a large bowl and add in the hot water. Mix on slow speed till combined. Add in the honey and mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, thoroughly mix the salt and flour. Slowly add in to the yeast mix, mixing well to create a dough.
  4. Remove the dough from the bowl and drizzle with the extra virgin olive oil. Knead by hand for 10 min. The dough shouldn't be sticky; if it is, add in more flour by the Tbsp..
  5. Divide the dough into 10 pcs and gently roll each piece into a ball. Place the balls on the baking sheets and let rise in a dry, hot place till about double in size, 1 hour.
  6. Heat the oven to 375 degrees. Bake the bread till golden, 35 min.
  7. This recipe yields 10 panini.
