Рецепт Baked Pesto Chicken Wings
I have always associated pesto with pasta, but this green creamy sauce is great with chicken or fish. At a fundraising banquet I attended last night, one of the entree choices was pesto-crusted breast of chicken and everyone at my table was raving about it. I happened to choose the vegetarian pot pie which was also great, so I didn't get to taste the chicken. I didn't think it was kosher to taste someone else's meal at a formal banquet. So today, I thought I would experiment with a chicken pesto dish. I only had chicken wings in my freezer so I had to make do. The result was awesome. I never thought that a simple combination of wings, pesto, cheese and tomatoes would make such a great banquet-quality home-cooked meal!

- 5 pcs. chicken wings
- 1/2 cup basil pesto
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cocktail tomatoes, sliced

- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
- In a large bowl, generously coat chicken wings with basil pesto. Place coated wings on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil. Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove tray from oven and sprinkle cheese over the wings. Add tomato slices on top of the wings.
- Return tray to oven and bake for another 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve warm.
