1/4 c. bourbon 1/4 c. minced scallions 2 T maple syrup 1 T soy sauce

2 teaspoon Dijon mustard 1/4 teaspoon grnd pepper 1 pound sea scallops 1/4 pound slices bacon - 3 in.

1. In a bowl, put together the bourbon, scallions, maple syrup, soy sauce, mustard, and pepper. Stir in the scallops. Cover and chill for 1 hour.2. Prepare the grill or possibly heat the broiler. Wrap the scallops in bacon and thread on skewers. Grill or possibly broil 4 inches from the heat, turning once, till the bacon is crisp and the scallops are opaque, about 5 min.
