  • 1 pkt Cake / pudding mix
  • 3/4 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat sour cream
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 6 c. Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/3 c. Light corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. Melted butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Almond extract Frosting and candies

  1. Directions: In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, lowfat sour cream and Large eggs. Beat together on high speed. Pour batter into 13 x 9" cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 min. Cold completely. Cut cake into 24 even squares. To prepare icing, beat together the powdered sugar, water, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla and almond extract till smooth. Add in a few drops of water if consistency is too thick, you want a drizzling icing. Place the squares onto a rack and spoon the icing over. Allow icing to set. Decorate with additional icing and candies.
