Autumn Swirl Cake with Maple Bacon Frosting

with Chopped Mini Snickers Candy Bars

Heavenly~

Autumn Swirl Cake with Maple Bacon Frosting was perfect for Thanksgiving Dinner. We always have the usual Pumpkin and Cherry Pie, but this year when I saw that Duncan Hines had a New Autumn Velvets Cake Mix out, I knew I was going to make this cake. I tried Duncan Hines Holiday Velvets Cake Mix last Christmas and this Spring I tried the Spring Velvets Cake Mix and for the Fourth of July, the Summer Velvets Cake Mix.....all were delicious, fun and festive.

Betty Crocker just so happened to have a New Limited Edition Frosting out at the same time called: Maple Bacon Frosting. Well I knew the minute I saw this frosting, I was going to give it a try! At first I wasn't sure what to expect with this frosting but this frosting is awesome! It has a wonderful maple flavor, not artificial tasting at all and the bacon flavored sprinkles were very subtle, giving the finished cake a light smoky flavor. I hope Betty Crocker decides to keep this frosting around because there are a lot of things I would love to frost with this delicious frosting~

1 box Duncan Hines Limited Edition Autumn Velvets Cake Mix

In large mixing bowl, combine brown cake mix with eggs, water and oil on low speed until combined. Beat on high for 2-3 minutes. Set aside.

Pour orange batter at one end of cake pan and pour brown cake batter at the other end of cake pan. With a butter knife, cut and twist through batters to create a marble swirl effect.

Bake for 27-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool on wire rack for 5-10 minutes.

Remove cake from pan and cool completely.

Frost with Maple Bacon Frosting and

Garnish with chopped Mini Snickers Candy Bars.
