- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.Put together butter, cream cheese and sugar in large mixing bowl, beat till creamy. Add in large eggs, one at a time, beat till smooth. Slowly add in flour (with salt); add in vanilla and beat till batter mix is light and fluffy. (This works best if you have a standing mixer and can let it run slowly and constantly while you add in ingredients.)
- Pour into greased tube pan. Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs (check after an hour; done when toothpick comes out clean).
- Whip all ingredients till smooth and fluffy (couple min). Spread on cooled cake and ENJOY!
