%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20350.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20food%20processor%20(a%20mini%20one%20works%20fine%20for%20this%20amount),%20whirl%20up%20the%20apricots,%20honey%20and%20applesauce%20until%20they%20form%20a%20nice%20fruity%20paste.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUsing%20a%20stand%20mixer,%20cream%20the%20butter%20and%20sugar%20until%20fluffy.%20Add%20the%20egg,%20vanilla%20and%20zest%20and%20blend%20until%20well%20combined.%20On%20a%20slow%20speed,%20beat%20in%20the%20flour%20until%20a%20dorm%20is%20formed.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDivide%20the%20dough%20into%20two%20equal%20portions%20and%20roll%20each%20portion%20into%20an%20approximately%2012%22%20x%204%22%20rectangle,%20about%201/4%22%20thick%20(this%20is%20best%20done%20on%20a%20piece%20of%20parchment%20paper).%20%20Spread%20half%20the%20apricot%20filling%20along%20the%20center%20of%20one%20dough%20rectangle,%20patting%20it%20down%20a%20little%20until%20it's%20even;%20repeat%20for%20the%20other%20rectangle.%20Gently%20fold%20one%20of%20the%20un-fruited%20sides%20of%20the%20dough%20over%20the%20fruit%20paste%20and%20then%20fold%20the%20remaining%20side%20over%20the%20top.%20Press%20gently%20on%20the%20ends%20to%20seal.%20Carefully%20flip%20the%20roll%20over%20and%20place%20it,%20seam%20side%20down,%20on%20a%20prepared%20baking%20sheet.%20Repeat%20procedure%20with%20second%20roll.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20the%20rolls%20for%20about%2015-20%20minutes%20or%20until%20slightly%20golden.%20Cool%20for%20a%20few%20minutes%20then%20slice%20into%20bars.%20Cool%20bars%20completely%20on%20a%20wire%20rack.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
