  • 1 pkg. Betty Crocker yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. (3 1/4 ounce) vanilla instant pudding & pie filling
  • 1/2 c. minced nuts
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c. applesauce
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients in ungreased oblong pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches, with fork scraping corners frequently till moistened. Stir batter vigorously with fork, 1 minute; scrape sides with rubber spatula. Spread batter evenly in pan. Bake till top springs back when touched lightly in center 35-40 min; cool loosen cake from sides, cut and serve directly from pan. Store any remaining cake loosely covered in refrigerator.
