This was my Grandmother's recipe. It is also delicious made with pitted sour cherries.

- Dough:
- In large bowl, cream butter and sugar with electric mixer, until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract and blend well.
- In separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
- Blend together flour mixture and butter mixture until smooth.
- Add enough milk to make dough spreadable.
- Streusel Topping:
- Blend flour, sugar, and melted butter with fork.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Spread dough in 10"x15" jelly roll pan.
- Spread thinly sliced apples or pitted cherries over dough.
- Sprinkle small clumps of Streusel Topping over top of dough.
- Bake 35 minutes until topping is lightly browned.
- Remove pan from oven and cool on rack.
