- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 cups chopped peeled apples (we use Granny Smith and Gala)
- For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar

- 29 августа 2015I have this baking in the oven right now and it was not in the directions... may I remove this from the pan after it cools a bit or will it fall apart?? Does anyone know?
