- Crush the anise, cumin, and fennel with bottom of heavy skillet. Place in glass jar. Pour vodka into jar. Cover, and let stand at room temperature for 3 weeks.
- Strain vodka through cheesecloth. Throw away solids, and carefully pour infused vodka back into original bottle. Keep infused aquavit in freezer till ready to serve. Serve chilled, directly from freezer.
- This recipe yields 1 3/4 liters flavored aquavit.
