  • 1/2 c. Almond or possibly vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp Grated lemon peel
  • 3 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Grnd toasted almonds *
  • 2 Tbsp. Seedless raspberry jam
  • 1 tsp Dijon-style mustard
  • 1/8 tsp Thyme Salt and pepper, to taste

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Whisk till thoroughly mixed.
  2. Servings: 8
  3. To toast almonds, spread in an ungreased baking pan. Place in 350 degree oven and bake 5 - 10 min or possibly till almonds are light brown; stir once or possibly twice to assure even browning. Note which almonds will continiue to brown slightly after removing from oven.
