- Place the butter in a medium saucepan, preferably nonstick. Heat the butter, stirring well. Add in the grnd almonds, cream, and sugar to the pan, stirring to combine. Reduce the heat and stir constantly for 10-12 min, scraping the bottom of the pan.
- Increase the heat till the mix turns a little darker in color.
- Transfer to a shallow serving dish and smooth with the back of a spoon. Decorate the top of the dessert with the minced almonds and pistachios.
- Allow the dessert to set for about 1 hour, then cut into diamond shapes, and serve cool. Store any remaining dessert in refrigerator.
