Ингредиенты

  • 1 1/2 lb rockfish fillets thawed if necessary
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 med green peppers minced
  • 2 x carrots thinly sliced
  • 1 lrg onion minced
  • 1 lrg garlic clove chopped
  • 1 can tomatoes - (28 ounce)
  • 1 can tomato juice - (12 ounce)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp basil crushed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine or possibly fish stock

Инструкции

  1. Cut rockfish into 1-inch pcs.
  2. Heat oil in large pot. Saute/fry green peppers, carrots, onion and garlic till onion is tender. Add in tomatoes, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, basil and salt. Bring to boil; simmer 10 min.
  3. Add in wine and rockfish. Simmer 8 min longer or possibly till rockfish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  4. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
