Рецепт Aglio Olio, and Pepperoncino
You know one of the easiest, and most tasty pasta dishes is also the cheapest. When I was over in Italy, I often found myself broke. This was a staple to eat when the money was short, and now it goes well with almost anything.
Ingredients:
- 1 large clove garlic thinly sliced (Aglio)
- 3 tblsp olive oil (Olio)
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper (Pepperoncino)-add more or less depending on what you like.
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- Spaghetti, or Angel Hair
In a skillet heat up the olive oil. Add the garlic and crushed red pepper. Just when the garlic begins to brown, remove from heat and stir being sure not to burn the garlic. Once the pasta is done, strain and add to the oil. Mix until all the pasta is coated. Add the cheese, and serve. It is that quick, and that easy, and yes that cheap. (Hint: if the pasta seems dry, it probably is, add some of the pasta water back to the pasta to help it out.
