Ингредиенты

  • 1 lb Sliced abalone, pounded
  • 2 c. Water
  • 6 slc Bacon
  • 1 x Log minced onion
  • 6 x Minced celery sticks
  • 4 c. Cubed potatoes
  • 4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 cube butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch

Инструкции

  1. Dice abalone, add in to potatoes and let simmer in pot with water. Fry bacon till crisp, drain and set aside. In the bacon fat, cook onion, celery till nearly done. Pcs should be slightly crunchy. Drain and add in vegetable and butter to abalone. Simmer very slowly, adding a c. of lowfat milk every 5 min. Salt and pepper to taste. Add in cornstarch if thicker chowder is desired. Allow pot to simmer for an additional 15 min. Add in corn if you like.
