- 1 bay leaf
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp. ginger -garlic paste (or grated)
- 1 cup chopped, mixed vegetables (Optional. I used a capsicum and a carrot.)
- 1/2 cup basmati rice
- 1.5 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup water
