I love Tillamook. True story. And not because they hooked it up with a TON of free ice cream to eat until we couldn't eat anymore. My love for Tillamook goes way back, before I even knew they had ice cream. It was purely for the cheese! When my husband and I first started dating, I professed my love of Tillamook cheese to him. He told me he had gone on a tour at their factory and had Tillamook Ice Cream {first time I had heard about this Tillamook Ice Cream business} when the tour ended. Bam! Just like that I fell in love. With my husband, I was already in love with Tillamook. And I was rushing out the door to go find some Tillamook Ice Cream.:)

%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFast%20forward%20almost%206%20years%20later%20and%20I%20was%20rushing%20out%20the%20door%20to%20attend%20a%20Tillamook%20Ice%20Cream%20Social!%20Tillamook%20partnered%20with%20Sacramento%20Bloggers%20to%20host%20an%20incredible%20event,%20at%20Thinkhouse%20Collective%20in%20Sacramento,%20that%20featured%20a%20lot%20more%20than%20just%20eating%20ice%20cream.%20I%20am%20one%20lucky%20lady%20to%20have%20been%20invited,%20otherwise%20I%20may%20have%20died%20of%20envy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20night%20started%20with%20an%20awesome%20presentation%20by%20Gillian%20Kennedy%20(@gckennedy),%20Tillamook's%20Integrated%20Marketing%20Manager.%20%7Byeah,%20they%20could%20have%20gotten%20me%20there%20without%20the%20ice%20cream.%20haha%7D%20I%20couldn't%20wait%20to%20hear%20what%20she%20had%20to%20say.%20It's%20not%20everyday%20you%20get%20gems%20of%20advice%20from%20a%20social%20media%20expert,%20at%20least%20I%20don't,%20so%20this%20was%20super%20duper%20special.%20Gillian%20went%20over%20tips%20on%20creating%20a%20visual%20voice%20for%20ourselves%20through%20social%20media%20channels.%20This%20woman%20knows%20what%20she%20is%20talking%20about%20-%20during%20her%20tenure%20with%20Tillamook%20their%20online%20following%20has%20grown%20by%20600%25.%20That%20is%20drop-dead%20uh-mazing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh,%20did%20I%20mention%20there%20was%20ice%20cream%20too?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20was%20the%20cutest%20ice%20cream%20table%20set%20up%20with%20fancy%20plates,%20ice%20cream%20toppings,%20syrups,%20cookies%20and%20of%20course%20lots%20of%20ice%20cream.%20%20We%20even%20got%20to%20try%20a%20new%20flavor,%20Fireside%20S'mores,%20that%20was%20absolutely%20delicious!%20%7Benough%20so%20that%20I%20got%20a%20carton%20for%20Mr.%20Hungry%20Harp%20to%20try%20the%20next%20night.%7D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20case%20you%20didn't%20know%20that%20Tillamook%20made%20ice%20cream,%20let%20me%20tell%20you%20-%20they%20do%20and%20you%20want%20need%20it%20in%20your%20life.%20The%20taste%20of%20their%20flavors%20are%20seriously%20like%20none%20other%20and%20there%20are%2027%20to%20choose%20from.%20My%20favorite%20is%20Chocolate%20Peanut%20Butter%20with%20Fireside%20S'mores%20coming%20in%20close%20at%20second%20and%20I%20can't%20wait%20to%20try%20their%20White%20Chocolate%20Raspberry%20Yum.%20Before%20you%20run%20out%20the%20door%20to%20go%20find%20your%20own%20carton%20of%20Tillamook%20Ice%20Cream,%20check%20out%20the%20Tillamook%20Where%20To%20Buy%20page!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20then%20%7BI%20know,%20how%20could%20there%20possibly%20be%20more%20to%20this%20awesome%20Ice%20Cream%20Social?!?%7D%20we%20participated%20in%20a%20live%20Instagram%20contest.%20The%20mission%20was%20to%20create%20an%20ice%20cream%20sandwich%20using%20the%20ingredients%20available%20and%20post%20a%20photo%20of%20it%20to%20Instagram%20using%20the%20hashtag%20%23TillamookInSac.%20How%20awesome,%20huh?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere%20is%20my%20entry%20into%20the%20contest.%20A%20Chocolate%20Peanut%20Butter%20Ice%20Cream%20Sandwich,%20sandwiched%20between%20two%20Chocolate%20Chip%20Cookies%20and%20sprinkled%20with%20chopped%20nuts.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20was%20honored%20to%20receive%20a%20runner%20up%20prize%20in%20the%20contest%20-%20an%20awesome%20Tillamook%20apron%20and%20a%20couple%20free%20cartons%20of%20ice%20cream!!%20That's%20winning%20as%20far%20as%20I'm%20concerned.%20%7Bhere%20is%20my%20math:%20free%20ice%20cream%20=%20winning%7D%20:)%20My%20cutie%20patootie%20of%20a%20son%20was%20more%20than%20happy%20to%20model%20the%20apron%20for%20me%20when%20I%20got%20home.%20I%20LOAF%20that%20kid!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20had%20a%20great%20time%20and%20met%20a%20bunch%20of%20great%20people.%20It%20was%20my%20first%20time%20venturing%20out%20to%20a%20local%20blogging%20event%20and%20was%20so%20happy%20I%20did.%20Totally%20excited%20for%20the%20next%20Sacramento%20Bloggers%20event!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20more%20information%20on%20Tillamook,%20check%20out%20their%20website%20-%20facebook%20-%20twitter%20-%20pinterest%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
