Рецепт A Healthier Pimento Cheese – Gluten Free
Yesterday I woke up with a strong craving. A craving for PIMENTO CHEESE!
Good. ol’. Southern. Pimento Cheese.
Which is funny, because I don’t actually have any mayo in the fridge. I don’t actually like mayo, unless it’s mixed in pimento cheese. Or it’s made fresh and served with french fries!
So I improvised. Good thing too!
Because what I created is just as good as Southern pimento cheese, but it’s way better for you!
I used: 1 cup Cabot 50% Light Sharp Cheddar and 1 cup Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar, shredded finely. To that I added one cup of Chobani 0% Fat Greek Yogurt, 2 tbsp. yellow mustard, and 1/2 tbsp. ranch seasoning
Delicious!
Even better…
throw some bacon on there!
I actually enjoyed the above sandwich as a late breakfast yesterday, since I had to work the Sunday shift at work. That sandwich right there kept me full until nearly 6 PM! What about you? Love or Hate mayo? Happy Monday!
