%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20for%20the%20adults%20we%20have%20made%20%20the%20following:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20created%20our%20designs%20for%20the%20suet%20bird%20feeders%20after%20some%20we%20saw%20at%20the%20local%20pet%20store%20for%20$15!!!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20made%20ours%20out%20of%20scrap%20wood%20from%20the%20greenhouse%20build.%20%20%20%20We%20glued%20cedar%202%20x%204s%20together,%20planed%20them,%20routered%20them,%20and%20drilled%20them.%20%20(Yes,%20The%20Hubs%20has%20all%20the%20toys%20to%20make%20these.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20added%20eye-hooks%20(large%20ones%20on%20the%20top%20and%20small%20ones%20on%20the%20bottom).%20%20%20%20I%20couldn%E2%80%99t%20help%20it;%20I%20had%20to%20attach%20some%20bling%20(that%20I%20hope%20won%E2%80%99t%20scare%20the%20birds%20away).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20blinged-out%20bird%20feeders.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20will%20attach%20this%20recipe%20(based%20on%20one%20from%20Rhonda%20at%20The%20Kitchen%20Witch).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20saucepan%20over%20medium%20heat,%20melt%20the%20shortening%20and%20peanut%20butter,%20stirring%20occasionally%20until%20combined.%20%20Add%20cornmeal%20and%20other%20ingredients.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20into%20molds%20or%20muffin%20tin%20and%20%20freeze%20until%20set%20(about%203%20hours).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20suet%20from%20molds.%20%20%20Use%20immediately%20or%20freeze%20until%20needed.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20can%20also%20use%20this%20concoction%20to%20coat%20pine%20cones%20to%20hang%20in%20the%20trees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20gift%20also%20includes%20suet%20molds%20and%20plungers%20to%20get%20out%20the%20suet%20once%20it%20is%20frozen.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESuet%20bird%20feeders,%20molds,%20and%20plungers.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESince%20these%20gifts%20are%20going%20to%20mom%20and%20sis,%20I%20hope%20that%20those%20cold%20Iowa%20birds%20enjoy%20the%20present.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJust%20a%20little%20retro-app%20action.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStay%20tuned%20for%20one%20more%20homemade%20gift%20tomorrow:%20%20%20sock%20monkey%20wine%20covers.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
