- Completely dissolve gelatin in boiling water, stirring about 3 min. Add in ice cubes and stir constantly till gelatin is thickened, about 2 or possibly 3 min. Remove any unmelted ice. Using wire whip, blend in whipped topping; then whip till smooth. Mix in fruit. Chill, if necessary, till mix will mound. Spoon into pie crust. Refrigerate3 hrs.
- SUGGESTED FRUITS: 1 c. diced peeled pitted fresh peaches or possibly apricots 1 c. fresh rasberries or possibly blueberries 1 c. (8 3/4 ounce.) apricots or possibly sliced peaches, liquid removed and diced 1 can (8 1/4 ounce.) crushed pineapple in syrup, liquid removed 1 can (8 1/4 ounce.) fruit cocktail, liquid removed
