100 Day Weight Loss Challenge: My Weigh In!
I would be lying if I said that week #1 was easy… it wasn’t!
I made a lot of bad choices that I am not proud of but I am owning up! I
started the week with weight loss against me because I hurt my knee badly on
Saturday night. My normal fall back is … if I make an eating mistake I will
just burn the calories off in my workout. Well with my knee hurt that wasn’t
going to happen during week #1. I didn’t get my first workout in until Thursday
but it felt great! My knee is feeling
good so going forward I should be set. Another place I failed was getting all
the water in needed in. Yes that was a huge failure once again I didn’t bother
with that until the end of the week.
So moving on…. The past is the past …. Let it be…I am
excited for week two because I feel like I am better prepared. I have a grocery
list set for later this even for low calorie snack and the fixin’ for salads
that was missing last week. I am stocked on frozen fruit for smoothies, bottled
water, and so on. I just need to have some low calorie snacks on hand for those
moments that I am ready to dive into something bad for me or too high in
calories.
The scales says I lost 8.6 lbs. but in my book that comes
with an asterisk. The reason I say that is because when I weight in for day #1
last week my weight seemed to have gone up quite a bit since my last weight in,
so much so that it seemed hard to believe I gained that much weight in one month.
- I have a feeling a lot of the gain on the scale was water weight and now it’s
- reflecting as a loss. So although I am reporting what the scales 8.6 lbs. I am
not sure how much I might have actually lost.
I am starting week #2 with a smile because I am losing not
gaining and that’s a great start in my book!
