1-Gallon Freezer Ice Cream Custard

Ингредиенты

  • 2 quarts. lowfat milk
  • 3/4 c. plain flour
  • 2 c. + 1 c. sugar
  • 6 large eggs, whites separated
  • 2 quarts. lowfat milk
  • 1 can evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1 T vanilla to taste

Инструкции

  1. Mix egg yolks, 2 cups sugar and flour together. Add in 2 qts lowfat milk and cook till slightly thickened. Beat egg whites stiff and fold into custard mix. Add in vanilla and cool. When cool and ready to freeze, add in 1 can lowfat milk and the 1 cup sugar. Mix well and freeze in hand crank or possibly electric freezer.
