Try just a bottom crust and bake it first. I use my no-roll pie crust and used it for a pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving... Just melt a cube of butter in a pie pan and stir in a cup of flour and 3 tbsp. of powdered sugar. Pat out in the shape of the pie pan and prick. Bake until it is light brown and then fill. Since the Nuwave heats from the top it is all about the filling. With the pumpkin pie I set it in the liner pan and lowered the temp to about 70% and then I just kept an eye on it. It came out fantastic. I have also made fruit pies. The crust is really rich.

Thanks for the pastry recipe. Sounds right up my alley as I hate rolling out pastry.

So when you say a cube of butter are you talking about the quarter lb size????

Yeah, I think some say it is half a cup, but one of the sticks of butter that come in a pound of butter.
