I need every tip you can muster!

Thursday is the big day coming up. I bought a 13 pound turkey and need everyone's tips... Do I stuff it? Do I shield it? I have the extender rack.

I have only made a Turkey Breast in mine so far. I do believe you would use the extender ring with the smaller rack and I would not stuff the turkey. Make the stuffing in separate pan. It doesn't take as long to cook . I rubbed mine with butter and seasoned the skin before cooking. If it is not frozen cook it 15 minutes per pound and make sure the internal temperature is 180 degrees and check that in the thigh area not the breast. If it starts to brown to much tent it with a little aluminum foil. Hope this helps

Start with the breast down and turn at the halfway point.

Okay, got it in, did not have to tie the legs. I have already reached the halfway point and turned it over and buttered it. To keep the foil blowing off the wings/butt I topped the foil with an inverted aluminum pie pan. So far looking and smelling very good. I made the pumpkin pie in the Nuwave yesterday. Did my no-roll pie crust and baked it first then filled it and baked that. Used Libby's Pumpkin Pie mix in a can. It took one hour. Used the extender ring to back off the heat source and 80% power level. It looks perfect, and I also did it in a small square pan. Happy Thanksgiving!
