put themon the highest rack, cook for starters at 8 min on hi, to see if they get the color you want. You can turn them over if desired, tho I usually do not. You can do fries and say hot dogs on the bottom at the same time. If you want to turn your dogs over, then you could also turn over the fries.

You can cook almost everything in that NuWave you have. Ive had my NuWave for almost a year now and havent touched my oven since. We take regular potatoes and wedge them. Put them in the NuWave 10 - 15 minutes on 4" rack and they come out crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We watch them and decide. Some of us like them more brown and crispier. We just did some frozen french fries for the first time. We put them on the 4" rack and did them for about 10 minutes.... I like them crispy crispy. Stop the NuWave at 7-8 and check one... if you like it...its done, if you dont add a few more minutes. Remember this rule... It takes the NuWave at least 5 minutes to heat, so whatever you cook in it... add those 5 minutes.

Thank you both, I appreciate the answers,,not sure if I will be using this often but I hope to..I admit when I first got it out of the box, I thought to myself, this one one big small appliance. LOL I was ready to send it back.
Today I am going to roast a chicken...wish me luck.

Hey Joyce, how did your chicken turn out? Tell me how you cooked it.. I have to admit, I have cooked just about everything in the NuWave but a chicken. My husband is not a chicken fan. If you use your NuWave often, you will come to like it better then any appliance... I DONT WORK FOR NUWAVE... seems like I do.. LOL

I just went by the cooking time on the quick sheet and checked the internal temperature..I just rubbed some extra virgin light tasting olive oil on it, salt and pepper.. DH loved that the skin was crispy and the chicken was so moist....I dry brine my turkey this year but will fix in the regular oven since it is so big..Well if it is good then I will dry brine my whole chickens too.
