I am 61 years old, an ex-teacher and love food .Ilove to cook it, read about it, and eat it. I am married with one child a son that is a vegan I have 1 dog a basset hound named Rudy who fey often is the recipient of all food recipes gone wrong. I live in San Diego but grew up in Chicago.

I started cooking at age 12 using the Francois Pope cookbook. Its a cookbook I still use today. Around the age of 28 I realized that I can not cook 1 Jewish recipe so I started looking around and found Mrs Shoolman and my cousin Goldie two exceptional Jewish
cooks and my last influence was my sister Sharon. However right this moment the biggest influence on my cooking is Ina Garten
