I earned a BS degree in Food Science and Nutrition and taught Food Science while in a college community. I currently work for a foods manufacturing company--as a CPA. I find joy in serving good food to people I care for. I prepare Sunday dinner for about 20 people most weeks. I'm just a basic sucker for a good recipe!

I'm from the "down home" school of cooking--my grandmother and mother have been inspiring. I create from whatever is seasonal or on sale--we grow a beautiful garden and eat from it all summer. I'm also a busy person with a full-time job and volunteer activities, so I'm motivated by products that cut time without compromising quality.
