%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20just%20had%20a%20thought....%20is%20it%20wrong%20to%20wrap%20tofu%20in%20bacon?%20I%20was%20just%20thinking%20about%20what%20to%20have%20tomorrow%20and%20remembered%20I%20picked%20up%20some%20bacon%20on%20sale%20%22buy%20one%20get%20one%20free%22%20at%20the%20Sobey's.%20I%20went%20for%20the%20toilet%20paper%20sale%20but%20that's%20another%20story.%20I%20buy%20it(bacon)%20on%20sale%20and%20separate%20it%20into%202%20pieces%20per%20package%20and%20freeze%20it.%20Then%20I%20just%20the%20right%20portion%20for%20chowders,%20making%20fresh%20bacon%20bits%20or%20even%20for%20the%20occasional%20breakfast.%20Don't%20ask%20me%20why%20wrapping%20tofu%20with%20it%20came%20to%20mind.%20I%20think%20it%20would%20freak%20out%20some%20earth%20muffin%20vegetarian%20vibe%20out%20there%20in%20the%20universe%20resulting%20in%20some%20sort%20of%20plague%20against%20meat.%20So%20maybe%20not.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOn%20another%20note,%20I%20made%20polenta%20for%20the%20first%20time.%20EASY!!%20And%20really%20tasty.%20I%20kept%20it%20super%20simple.%20This%20is%20great%20in%20place%20of%20potatoes,%20rice,%20couscous,%20noodles,%20etc.%20And%20you%20can%20change%20the%20flavorings%20to%20suit%20your%20meal%20or%20your%20own%20taste%20buds!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EItalian%20Polenta%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServes%204%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInstructions:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPut%201%20cup%20water%20and%20cornmeal%20in%20a%20bowl%20and%20let%20soak.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPut%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20water%20in%20a%20pot%20and%20bring%20to%20a%20boil%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20the%20cornmeal%20mixture%20to%20the%20boiling%20water%20and%20reduce%20to%20low.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESimmer%20until%20thickened,%20it%20will%20happen%20quickly,%20just%20a%20couple%20of%20minutes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStir%20in%20the%20cheese%20until%20blended%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStir%20in%20the%20basil%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETaste%20and%20add%20salt%20to%20taste%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServe!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(I%20do%20have%20some%20great%20recipes%20for%20the%20freezer%20for%20veggies%20coming%20into%20harvest%20this%20time%20of%20year.%20I%20swear%20I'll%20get%20them%20up%20soon...)%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
