  • 1 c. Dates,pitted,minced
  • 1 c. Pecans,dry roasted,minced
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 x Egg whites,at room temp.
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 2/3 c. Sugar

Инструкции

  1. Combine dates, pecans, and vanilla; mash till a paste is formed. Shape mix into 30 3/4" balls.
  2. Beat egg whites and salt till stiff. Gradually beat in sugar, 1 Tbsp. at a time, till stiff and glossy. Dip balls into meringue, covering them completely. Place on a slightly greased cookie sheet and bake in a preheated slow oven at 250'F. for 30 min, or possibly till pale golden. Store in an airtight container.
