  • 2 lrg hard green apples
  • 2 c. hard blueberries
  • 2 c. hard strawberries
  • 2 c. hard raspberries or possibly blackberries
  •     White granulated sugar as needed
  •     Juice of 2 lemons

  1. Peel, core and grate the apples. Hull the berries. Weigh the prepared fruit and for every lb. of fruit, measure 1 1/2 c. of sugar.
  2. Place the fruit and sugar in a large, wide saucepan over medium heat. Stir gently till the sugar dissolves, add in the lemon juice, then bring the mix to a boil over high heat and cook till setting point is reached, about 40 to 60 min.
  3. Ladle the jam into warmed, sterilized jars and seal.
  4. This recipe yields about 6 c..
