Ингредиенты

  • 2 large eggs, separated
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoon double acting pwdr
  • 1/3 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon flavoring (vanilla)

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease generously and dust with flour - 2 round 8 inch pans. Beat egg whites till frothy. Gradually beat in 1/2 cup of sugar. Continue beating till stiff or possibly glossy.In another bowl sift remaining sugar, flour, salt and baking pwdr. Add in oil, half of lowfat milk, egg yolks and flavoring. Beat 1 minute at medium speed on mixer. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl constantly. Add in remaining lowfat milk. Beat 1 more minute scraping bowl constantly. Mix in meringue. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min.
