- 1 c. butter
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 c. plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 c. M & M's plain chocolate candies

- Blend butter and sugars in large bowl. Beat in vanilla and Large eggs. Sift dry ingredients together; add in to mix, blending well. Stir in 1/2 c. of candies. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheet; decorate tops with remaining candy. Bake at 375 degrees 10 min or possibly till golden. Some cracking may occur. Makes 72, 2 1/2 inch cookies.
