Often for Halloween we give you easy ideas for quick dinners or fun sweets to entertain tired out trick-or-treaters, but honestly I haven’t really been thinking about any recipe ideas lately because I have the best friends and neighbors ever, and I’ve had hot home-cooked meals delivered to my door nearly daily since I’ve been home from the hospital. I can’t even tell you how grateful I am for that. If you ever have a chance to take a meal to a new Mom, do it. It’s been a while since I’ve had a baby and I forgot how much that helps when you’re trying to manage everything and recover from giving birth.
So instead of a recipe today, when I figure everyone is busy with Halloween festivities anyway, I thought I’d give a little update…

%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELast%20Monday%20my%20husband%20and%20I%20welcomed%20our%204th%20kiddo%20into%20the%20world.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%E2%80%99s%20also%20our%204th%20boy,%20and%20my%204th%20c-section.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHe%20weighed%208lbs%208oz,%20we%20named%20him%20Gavin,%20and%20I%20even%20think%20he%E2%80%99s%20adorable%20when%20he%20screams.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20three%20older%20boys%20are%20all%20about%202%20years%20apart%20on%20the%20dot.%20%20Then%20we%20had%20a%204%201/2%20year%20gap%20before%20having%20little%20Gavin.%20%20So%20it%E2%80%99s%20been%20a%20different%20experience%20this%20time%20around%20and%20one%20of%20my%20favorite%20things%20is%20having%20kids%20old%20enough%20to%20really%20be%20excited%20about%20having%20a%20new%20baby%20around.%20%20I%20shared%20this%20picture%20on%20Instagram%20when%20they%20were%20absolutely%20memorized%20the%20first%20time%20they%20all%20saw%20him.%20%20It%20was%20one%20of%20those%20moments%20as%20a%20Mom%20that%20just%20sticks%20to%20your%20heart%20forever.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20forgot%20how%20amazing%20little%20tiny%20people%20are.%20%20Everything%20about%20a%20newborn%20from%20their%20their%20fuzzy%20little%20heads%20to%20their%20tiny%20little%20toes%20make%20grown%20adults%20just%20sit%20and%20stare.%20%20Which%20is%20exactly%20what%20I%E2%80%99ve%20been%20doing%20for%2010%20days%20straight.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%E2%80%99ll%20try%20to%20get%20cooking%20again%20soon,%20but%20in%20the%20mean%20time,%20if%20my%20recipes%20look%20super%20lame%20or%20super%20easy,%20just%20remember%20I%E2%80%99m%20busy%20snuggling%20this%20little%20guy%20because%20they%20don%E2%80%99t%20stay%20little%20for%20very%20long%20and%20it%E2%80%99s%20my%20last%20chance%20to%20savor%20it.%20%20I%20plan%20to%20spend%20the%20next%202%20months%20lounging%20around%20my%20house%20in%20yoga%20pants%20and%20over-sized%20hoodies%20and%20after%20that%20we%E2%80%99re%20re-visiting%20this%20post%20for%20a%20little%20Phase%202.%20%20If%20anyone%20wants%20to%20join%20me-%20get%20ready!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThanks%20so%20much%20for%20all%20of%20the%20well%20wishes%20during%20my%20pregnancy%20and%20after.%20%20We%20have%20an%20awesome%20community%20of%20readers%20here%20and%20we%20really%20do%20love%20you%20all!%20%20Hope%20you%20all%20have%20a%20happy,%20and%20safe,%20Halloween!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
