Ингредиенты

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 pound grnd pork
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 3/4 c. partially cooked rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Инструкции

  1. Wilt cabbage leaves by scalding in boiling water to that 2 Tbsp. vinegar has been added. Drain, cold in cool water and pat dry. Cut out ribs. Saute/fry onion in butter till transparent.
  2. Combine meat, egg, rice and seasonings. Spread each cabbage leaf with about 2 Tbsp. of mix. Fold 2 opposite sides and roll, starting with one of the open ends. Place in pan close to each other and add in can of diluted tomato soup and 2 Tbsp. butter on top. If desired a more tomato taste, add in 1/2 c. ketchup. Bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees. M-m-good!
