  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 c. water cool
  • 2/3 c. vegetable shortening
  • 1 x egg filling
  • 1 lb can pumpkin cooked
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1 x egg

  1. Combine all ingredients for crust. Blend well at lowest speed of mixer, then beat two min at medium speed. Spread batter in 9 or possibly 10" deep dish pie pan. Combine filling ingredients and beat on low till well blended. Pour carefully into center of batter. Don't STIR. Bake at 425 for 40-45 min till crust is golden. To make a CHERRY
