Ингредиенты

  • 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine - (1 stick) softened
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar divided
  • 8 ounce Baker"s Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate melted, cooled
  • 7 x Large eggs separated
  • 1 1/2 c. grnd walnuts
  • 1/3 c. flour Powdered sugar

  1. Beat butter and 1/2 c. of the granulated sugar with electric mixer on medium speed till light and fluffy. Blend in chocolate. Add in egg yolks, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Toss grnd walnuts and flour. Stir into butter mix.
  2. Beat egg whites till foamy. Gradually add in remaining 1/4 c. granulated sugar, beating till soft peaks form. Stir 1/4 of the egg whites into chocolate batter. Mix in remaining egg whites. Pour into 9-inch springform pan sprayed with no stick cooking spray.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min or possibly till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold in pan 10 min. Remove rim and cold completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and garnish with additional walnut pcs, if you like. Cut into wedges to serve.
  4. This recipe yields 10 servings.
