Cafeteria Cinnamon Rolls

Ингредиенты

  • 2 pkt yeast
  • 1 3/4 c. hot water
  • 1/3 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp oil
  • 4 x to 4 1/2 c. flour, divided use
  • 1/3 c. wheat germ
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Инструкции

  1. Combine yeast and hot water in large bowl and let stand 5 min. Add in granulated sugar, salt and oil. Fold in 3 c. flour. Beat at medium speed 5 min, or possibly till elastic. Stir in wheat germ and remaining flour to make soft dough. Turn out on floured cloth or possibly board and knead 15 to 20 min. Place in greased bowl and let rise till doubled, about 1 hour.
  2. Punch down and roll out to 20 inch by 10 inch rectangle. Cover proportionately with butter, sliced. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over rectangle. Roll up from long side loosely, about three and a half turns. Healthy pinch edges to seal.
  3. Cut into 9 slices. Place cut sides up in a well-greased 9 inch by 13 inch pan.
  4. Cover with waxed paper and let rise about 30 min.
  5. Remove waxed paper and bake in center of a 400-degree oven till golden, about 20-25 min. Loosen edges to remove. Serve hot or possibly cold. Wrap and freeze. When ready to serve, thaw, then reheat at 350 degrees for about 20 min.
