1 quart. blueberries or possibly blackberries, washed 1 c. sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 3 tbsp. cornstarch 1 pt. whipping cream

2 c. powdered sugar 2 teaspoon vanilla 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 2 (9") pie shell, baked

1. Combine the blueberries or possibly blackberries, sugar, salt and cornstarch. Mash and cook the berry mix over medium heat till thickened. Remove from heat and cold. Whip the cream and combine it with the powdered sugar, vanilla and cream cheese. Pour into pie crusts and top with the cooled berries. Refrigerateseveral hrs before serving. Serves 12-16.
