Beetroot Halwa is a delicious Indian sweet recipe that can be served as a dessert . My mom made this Beetroot Halwa often when I was a kid . I fell in love with this Beetroot Halwa that I cant resist making this Halwa for My kids . - Beetroot Halwa - Ingredients
- Beetroot - 3 cups , Grated
- Whole Milk - 2 cups
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Butter - 1 stick

Method:
Grate the Beetroot . I used my Food processor to do that . Heat a heavy bottom pan . Add the grated Beetroot and whole milk .
Cook till the beetroot becomes soft and till the milk evaporated . Add the sugar .
The contents may now start to become watery and sticky .Add the butter now .
Cook till all the water content is evaporated and the Halwa reaches a thick consistency . Beetroot Halwa is done .
Serve the Beetroot Halwa warm . This Beetroot halwa can be stored in the refrigerator for a week and can be used as needed .
