Ingredients: 5 c. Flour; 2 1/2 c. Butter, softened at room temperature; 1 c. Grnd almonds; 1 c. Icing sugar; 4 x Egg yolks; 6 Tbsp. Arak, (or possibly Pastis or possibly Ouzo); 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr

Ингредиенты

5 c. Flour
2 1/2 c. Butter, softened at room temperature
1 c. Grnd almonds
1 c. Icing sugar
4 x Egg yolks
6 Tbsp. Arak, (or possibly Pastis or possibly Ouzo)
1/2 tsp Baking pwdr

Инструкции

Preheat oven to 350' Cream softened butter well with sugar & yolks.
Add in Arak & cream well again. Sift the flour & baking pwdr into the mix. Knead into a hard dough. Add in nuts & knead again. Form into 3" crescents & place on an UNgreased baking sheet. Bake 20-25 min. Sprinkle with icing sugar while still warm.
